Honda reveals Urban EV interior

Full-width dashboard in Honda’s Urban EV Concept for Geneva 2019 aims to generate a ‘warm atmosphere’ in the cabin.

What's the news?

This is our first glimpse of the interior of one of the most eagerly anticipated vehicles of recent years, the Honda Urban EV Concept - which will gain its international debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Previewed at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show as a full-on, hyper-cute concept, Honda has since confirmed that it is going to put the Urban EV into production for 2020.

However, the version that will appear in Geneva will still be classed as a 'prototype' and carry the 'Concept' epithet, but really, it's what the Urban EV 2020 will look like.

And now we can see in the cabin, where a wide, flat and upright fascia is designed to 'create a warm and engaging atmosphere' for its occupants. The full-width display is also sited very close to the front-seat occupants, which seems to be a new fashion in the car industry right now.
