As the name gives away, this M3 comes with a matt finish to its exterior paintwork, which can be ordered in either grey or black. The paint finish is achieved using a clear top coat of silk lacquer.
The M3 Matte also comes with lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels, brake callipers finished in red, black air intakes at the front and black-painted exhaust pipes. Inside, there's carbon fibre trim and black leather seats with red stitching.
The mechanical package of the BMW M3 Matte remains standard, so there's a 420hp 4.0-litre V8 engine under the bonnet. Only Chinese customers will be offered the M3 Matte.
