Fiat is ramping up its involvement in 2011 by providing a fleet of support vans to help distribute goody packs to collection points around Ireland before the event, as well as a fleet of Fiat Bravos for use during the event. This includes a car to carry the official timing clock and follow the leading runner home.
In addition, all 40,000 Flora Mini-Marathon participants will be entered into a draw to win a brand new Fiat 500. The winner will be announced just moments before the run kicks off. RTÉ 2FM will broadcast the vehicle handover live and it will also be recorded by Setanta Sports for inclusion in a special program about the event.
The Flora Mini-Marathon takes place on the June Bank Holiday (Monday, June 6) and entry forms are available in the Evening Herald every Wednesday and Saturday, and online at www.florawomensminimarathon.ie.
