There are also some discounted PCP interest rates, with almost all models now having a 2.9 per cent APR number, except for the big XC90, which has a 3.9 per cent offer. While there aren't price cuts for the popular XC40 and XC60 models, there are some nice equipment pack upgrades available.
Alan Cowley, Head of Sales at Volvo Car Ireland said: "We have made a concerted effort to get our offers out early so those who are currently considering their options for their 182 purchase are aware and can avail of the strong incentives we have in place. "These offers should be equally appealing to both personal and business customers. Instead of a 'purchase contribution' these offers are a direct reduction off the retail price which will have a direct saving on BIK payments."
Volvo says that, as with everyone, the 181 registration period has been a tough one, with much uncertainty (diesel, Brexit, and imports on everyone's minds) but that in spite of its sales falling fractionally by around 70-odd units, it has managed to maintain its market share in the face of increased competition from the likes of BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and the likes of Lexus and Jaguar coming up from below.
The price reductions, PCP offers, and pack upgrades are available on models ordered between now and the 1st of October.
