Joe Duffy plans Ireland’s biggest BMW dealership

New development next to Dublin’s M50 will create 20 jobs.

What's the news?

The Joe Duffy Group, which has had an iconic presence for BMW in Dublin for decades, is moving to new premises. When we say 'new' we actually mean a few yards down the road from the current BMW showroom, just off the N2 junction on Dublin's M50 ring road motorway, but while Duffy's isn't moving far, it is going to create something special.

That will be the biggest BMW outlet in Ireland, part of a €30 million expansion plan for the Group. The new showrooms and workshops will create some 20 new jobs in sales, aftersales, and admin over the next three years.

Commenting on the development, Joe Duffy Group chief executive Gavin Hydes said: "The new multi-storey BMW retail facility, overlooking the M50, is a significant part of the Group's investment and expansion plans and demonstrates our confidence in the BMW brand. We are committed to providing customers with an exceptional retail environment, and we want to deliver the best retail experience in Ireland for customers purchasing and servicing their cars."

The new facility will include space for BMW and Mini cars, and BMW Motorrad motorcycles. The state-of-the-art workshop will include 30 servicing bays, and space for some 250 cars outside. It's due to open its doors to the BMW car-buying public at the end of this year.
