Bentley's new CEO will unveil mystery car, while Bentayga V8 and Continental GT will also star.

What's the news?

Bentley has outlined its stand plans for the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show - and there's an 'exciting new model' promised to be there.

It will be a chance for the company's new chairman and CEO, Adrian Hallmark, to make his first public appearance, while overseeing this important global debut.

Alongside the mystery car will be the Bentayga V8, which we've already reported on, that will be making its first motor show appearance, while the all-new Continental GT should also make an appearance.

Bentley is saying that European customer deliveries of the Continental GT should begin in summer and this will be the car's first appearance at the annual Swiss motor show, although it has been seen elsewhere prior to this display. Powered by a 6.0-litre W12, Bentley wants the Conti to be the 'finest grand tourer ever produced'.

Beyond that, Bentley will show off its new aniline leather and open-pore wood veneers. Mulliner, Bentley's personalisation division, will use a Flying Spur W12 to show off these cabin finishes. Bentley says that the aniline leather is the finest quality hide available, and in the Flying Spur it is finished in Golden Oak colour, while the open-pore walnut provides a more natural look for the interior.

Anything else?

The Bentley press conference takes place at 8.40am CET on March 6, with a livestream available on the Bentley Motors website. However, if you're actually going to Geneva in person, then you can interact with the brand on its stand, using its digital car configurator, a Bentley Network app experience and a variety of technical showcases - including an E-Mode display, a V8 engine and noise isolation cut-away.
