Tuned Range Rover Evoque

Subtly updated Evoque is called the City-Roader.

We know most Range Rover owners don't venture further off-road than the bistro car park, which is why German tuning outfit Arden has honed its idea of the Evoque for urban driving.

Called the City-Roader, Arden's vision of the Evoque comes with sizeable 20-inch alloy wheels of its own design. The wheels feature a hollow recess where the customer can specify their own message on a stainless steel plate.

There are also front and rear skirts for the bumpers, side aprons and a new exhaust system with twin pipes poking out from a diffuser-like rear bumper.

Backing up the looks is an upgrade for the Evoque's 2.0-litre engine from 240- to 270hp. No word on performance figures from Arden as yet, but the company says economy should be unaffected.

Inside, the City-Roader has upgrades to its stereo, multimedia and security systems, and Arden says there are "almost no limits to your personal requirements." The fee for the City-Roader has yet to be announced.
