Citroen DS4 marketing campaign

Citroen hopes to build excitement around the launch of its new DS4 crossover with a new 'secrets' campaign.

The next addition to Citroen's premium DS brand is the DS4 and it's being revealed in six parts in a new web documentary.

Every week for the next six weeks, Citroen will show a different aspect of the DS4's creation and production secrets at www.ds4.citroen.com. There will also be coverage on YouTube and Facebook.

The DS4 is touted as a five-door hatch, with raised ground clearance, based on the Citroen C4, but with unique styling to expand the DS range. Citroen says that using a documentary format allows it to let the viewer into "the world of drama, excitement and tension that exists during the build-up to releasing a new model, from initial design to launch."

The first Citroen DS4s will go on sale in Ireland in July 2011, but Citroen has yet to announce prices or specification.
