Three free years of road tax for Focus buyers

Free road tax for three years on run out models of the Ford Focus.

This is Ford's giveaway sale on the run out version of the Ford Focus. Everyone knows there is a new model going on sale in April, but there is a large field somewhere full of old ones, so there has been an announcement that all new (old) models will come with three years' free road tax. Focus bought by the end of March will have road tax covered right up until March 2014.

The offer applies across the Focus range, starting with the three-door Focus Style 1.6 TDCi, available from €21,475 - or €16,334 with scrappage. This model comes with air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, a Quickclear windscreen and Bluetooth voice control.

"The free road tax offer is the icing on the cake for a car that already presents outstanding value for money, with its renowned reliability and driving quality," said Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director, Ford Ireland. "The bill for road tax is one none of us likes to face, and not seeing it until 2014 is a pleasing thought!

"It's not all, though - there are also exceptional deals available on trade-ins against the Focus up until the end of the month."
