IVCC Festival of Transport classic car show

The Irish Vintage and Veteran Car Club classic car show in Punchestown will display priceless group of cars.

The Irish Vintage and Veteran Car Club (IVCC) will have quite the display at its upcoming show in Punchestown on the 14th of May. The 'Festival of Transport' will include a remarkable display of classic road-racers, reputedly worth €200-million. Those include a 250 Short Wheelbase Ferrari, Blower Bentley, 275 Four Cam Ferrari, an original C Type Jaguar, a DB3-S Aston Martin and a Ferrari F40.

Commenting on the Supercar display, IVVCC President Shane Houlihan said: " We're indebted to Chubb Insurance for sponsoring our Supercar Stand and for their continued support of IVVCC events. The quality and value of machinery on the Chubb Supercar Stand is valued at over €200 million and is simply breath-taking and will undoubtedly be the highlight of the show for most attendees".

The event takes place at the Punchestown race course events centre on the 14th, and if you've got a classic car and want to get involved, you can simply turn up on the day, pay €10 and do so. General admission is also €10 and kids get in free. In addition to the cars, motorcycles and steam engines on display, there will be over 40 trade & autojumble stands along with face painting, ballooning and rides for the children.
