easyAssist breakdown assistance by easytrip

Easytrip.ie has launched a breakdown and assistance service in response to rising insurance premiums.

What's the news?

With motor insurance premiums on a seemingly never-ending northward trajectory, many insurers have reduced benefits on their policies. Some insurers don't include any breakdown assistance whatsoever, and with people generally relying on their policy to provide this service, a major gap exists that could potentially leave many in bother come a breakdown.

Enter easytrip.ie, who has just launched its new easyAssist scheme. In partnership with breakdown assistance and recovery specialists around the country, the assistance service is available to car and small van owners from €3.99 per month. Usual breakdown scenarios such as flat batteries, to punctures and refuelling are covered, with 80 per cent of breakdowns said to be resolved on the spot.

As well as the benefits of the breakdown and assistance service, motorists who sign up to easytrip get use of express lanes at toll plazas with reduced toll fees, as well as cheaper parking in many major car parks nationwide.
