New app for car finance from First Citizen

New app for car finance from First Citizen
First Citizen Finance launches new car finance app for buyers - and 22nd edition of Auto Ireland magazine.

What's the news?

A new smartphone app has been launched by First Citizen Finance to help new and used car buyers obtain finance quotes in a quick and easy manner. Called First Citizen Finance Abacus, the app, available on the Apple iOS, Android and Windows stores, allows registered users obtain instant car finance quotes before proceeding further with the process.

Three pieces of information are required to obtain the instant finance quotes (which are available over three, four or five years, depending on the age of the vehicle being financed). The user must provide the model year, the name of the dealership and their monthly budget - or finance amount required. Once this information is entered, the quote results are displayed - including monthly payment, weekly equivalent and cost of credit. From there, the app user can choose their preferred option and connect with a local First Citizen Finance advisor to complete the transaction.

Chris Hanlon, Managing Director, First Citizen Finance: "It's a very useful tool for car buyers as they search the market for the best finance options. Furthermore, the in-App 'Engine Room' area is equally valuable for existing customers with us, as they can benefit from additional features, such as changing a due date on their account. It's a very exciting development."

Coinciding with the launch of the First Citizen Finance Abacus app is the unveiling of the 2017 Auto Ireland new car guide, free with today's Irish Mail on Sunday (8 January, 2017) and available to buy in shops, too. The high-quality magazine is packed with expert reviews of every new car on sale in Ireland, along with other feature articles, and CompleteCar.ie is happy to have played a role in its production. Auto Ireland's publisher, Ciaran Casey of Harmonia, said, "As an indicator of the growing confidence in the economy and the motor industry in particular, we are delighted to publish this quality magazine. We appreciate the support of First Citizen who assisted us in producing this magazine again."
