Numerous events and special-edition liveries planned for 70th birthday.

Next year sees the 70th anniversary of Ferrari's foundation, and the Prancing Horse isn't going to let it pass by quietly. A special celebratory logo has debuted on the LaFerrari Aperta hypercar (fully sold out already, in case you're wondering), and will make its way onto a small number of slightly more attainable models during the course of 2017.
Created in conjunction with Tailor Made, 70 liveries inspired by historic Ferrari events and icons will each be used on five cars from the current range to create 350 unique cars. Some of these liveries were on display at the Paris Motor Show including ''The Stirling'', a Blu Scuro F12 Berlinetta with white stripe and roundel which recalls Stirling Moss' 1961 Tourist Trophy victory, a Steve McQueen-inspired California T in brown with contrasting camel leather interior and a 488 GTB which pays homage to Ferrari F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
A world tour encompassing over 60 countries is also mooted, with events in Italy throughout the year culminating in an exclusive event at the company's Maranello base. For a proper 70th birthday present to itself however, we'd like to see the classic Ferrari open-gate manual gearbox saved from extinction, just saying...
