The event will also include many family activities for all ages to enjoy including a junior obstacle course, children's zone, arts & craft stalls, cooking demonstrations and live music.

The local Rainbow club has been running for 12 years and is situated in Drogheda Town Clubhouse, Marian Park, with seven staff members who help to run three Youth Clubs, with ages ranging from 10-18 and over. They also run a club on a Saturday morning for younger children aged 4-10. Entry for the fun run is €20 and with an additional charge of €10 for those who wish to take part in the skills session with Ronnie Whelan. Western Motors Volkswagen are proudly sponsoring the Rainbow Challenge to support under age soccer and the Irish Wheelchair Association.
