Another special edition Lamborghini

New Gallardo Bicolore revealed in Qatar.

Preparing for the launch of its new V12 model doesn't mean Lamborghini has forgotten about the Gallardo.  The special edition Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore was launched at the Qatar Motor Show this week.  It features two-tone paint, matching interior and 'a full range of standard equipment'.

Key to the colour scheme is the Noctis Black upper portion of the body.  The hue covers the pillars, roof, engine cover and rear spoiler.  The lower half of the car is offered in a choice of five colours; Giallo Midas (yellow), Arancio Borealis (orange), Grigo Telesto (grey), Bianco Monocerus (white) or Blu Caelum (blue).  Lightweight, 15-spoke forged alloy wheels are fitted too.

Echoing the two-tone theme the interior is trimmed in 'Nero Persus' leather with contrasting stitching to match the body colour (except on a white car where grey stitching is used).  Standard equipment includes e-gear automated transmission, a lifting system for the front axle and a glass engine cover.  Options include satellite navigation, a rear-view camera and carbon-ceramic brakes.

The Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore will be produced for Europe and the Asian-Pacific market.  For America the LP 550-2 gets the two-tone treatment.
