Renault will be building this Kaptur 4x4 crossover in Moscow, purely for the Russian market. Apparently, starting it with a 'K' underscores the 'Russian touch' of the newcomer, while the letter is also said (in Russian) to evoke the Kaptur's 'high quality, comfortable and good-looking' characteristics.
More details on the Russian Renault will be forthcoming at the end of March 2016.
Anything else?
There are no plans to sell this model in the rest of Europe. Because that would be confusing, wouldn't it? A Captur and a Kaptur, alongside each other in showrooms.
