Prices for the two variants start at €36,990 and €39,990 respectively. CO2 emissions of 139g/km and fuel consumption of 6.0 litres/100km mean it's one of the most efficient cars in its class, but it will have its work cut out to match the many talented competitors in the saturated performance hatch market on pure driving thrills. Machines like the SEAT Leon Cupra and Ford Focus ST are known quantities, so it will be interesting to see if Peugeot Sport's enormous motorsport pedigree translates to a winner on Irish roads.
