Bond's Aston Martin DB10 goes to auction

Bond
DB10 sold for €3.1 million benefits the Médecins Sans Frontières charity.

Hello, I'm a famous British spy (if that's not an oxymoron) and I'd like to trade in this lightly used Aston Martin.

I see sir. Which model is it?

It's a DB10, one of only ten built exclusively so that I could have lots of action-filled and glamorous adventures in it. Eight have been destroyed in a spectacular chase on the streets of Rome with that bloke from Guardians of the Galaxy, so it's pretty rare.

Very good sir. Have you had it independently valued?

Well, sort of. One of them sold at Christie's in London the other day for €3.1 million, with the proceeds going to benefit the charity Médecins Sans Frontières, which brings medical aid and expertise to the world's trouble spots. After I've finished blowing up those trouble spots while wearing an immaculately pressed tuxedo with a gorgeous girl draped on one arm, of course.

Of course sir. Any provenance with the car?

Oh yes, Aston Martin boss Andy Palmer said that: "The DB10 is one of the rarest cars ever created. Only 10 will ever be made and this is the only one that will be made available for sale. It's great to see this DB10 raising vital funds for Médecins Sans Frontières, it is a fantastic charity that we are delighted to support."

I see sir. Any optional extras?

*raises one eyebrow* A few. Nothing special.

Veery good sir. Well, I could offer you €4,500 scrappage against this lovely Toyota Auris...
