What's the news?
Not quite sure why anyone would want a sporty-looking version of the practical, sensible, school-run-friendly Volkswagen Golf SV MPV but for the small subset of family drivers who fancy something with a bit more visual oomph, Volkswagen has just announced an R-Line pack for the SV.
That cash gets you a number of styling and equipment upgrades, including "Race" design seat upholstery, inner side supports in "San Remo" microfibre fabric, a multifunction leather-trimmed sport steering wheel with R-Line logo, "Black Lead Grey" decorative inserts, stainless steel pedals and footrest, front door sill plates in aluminium with R-Line logo and floor mats front and rear with R-Line logo and 17-inch "Salvador" alloy wheels (which you can optionally bump up to 18-inch if you like).
If you want just the exterior styling bits, including the 17-inch alloys, that'll be €1,815.
