Price reductions for Honda range including new sub-€21,000 Civic

Honda Civic range now starts at €20,995.

Honda has introduced a raft of new price changes to its range in Ireland to boost flagging sales. Its range, which is largely made up of petrol models, has failed to sparkle of late and the result is that the brand sold just 1,211 cars in 2010.

There is a new 1.4 Si Special Edition i-VTEC version of the Honda Civic that will start at €20,995. It gets a sports mesh grille, 16-inch alloy wheels and an Alcantara interior.

The Jazz will now start at €15,895 with Vehicle Stability Assist as standard. The Insight now starts at €22,375 for the SE version. In the CR-V pricing for the diesel models have been reduced with the diesel model starting at €39,995.
