For all those looking at a muscular, rapid, Ford Focus ST and going "Hmmmm, I just wish it had an extra 25hp...." we have good news.
Legendary tuning outfit Mountune is offering an upgrade kit for the Focus ST, which boosts the car's power output to 275hp. The kit has a larger, all-alloy intercooler, new turbo ducting, hog-flow air filter and a new software map for the engine control system. Power is up to 275hp at 5,500rpm and there's also more torque - now up to 400Nm at 2,750rpm.
The cost of the kit in the UK is £1,195 but there's no official word yet on whether it will be offered in Ireland. In the UK, the kit is fully backed by Ford and the car keeps its standard Ford warranty.
