Renault tops quietest month for car sales in 2010

Renault enjoys another strong November

Renault once again emerged as the top-selling brand for the month of November, a month which was (as usual) the quietest month for new car sales in Ireland this year.

Renault claimed 16.84 percent of the November market with 258 cars, ahead of Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen and Nissan.

The Renault Mégane and Clio were the top two best-selling cars in November, with the Ford Focus, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Golf following.

Ford remains the top selling marque for the year with 12.68 percent of the market, ahead of Toyota, Volkswagen, Renault and Opel.

The Renault Mégane is now the best-selling model of 2010, with 3,968 sold so far.
