Kahn Design blings-up the Defender

Kahn Design blings-up the Defender
Seriously, you should give this Kahn-designed Defender a chance!

Kahn Design is generally best known for taking cars we like (Range Rovers, Defenders etc.) and sticking horrible bodykits on them and probably mucking about with superglue and Swarovski crystals. Yuk.

Its new car, the Defender 90 Pickup Chelsea Wide Track, might be a bit different though. Yes, it's got a terrible name but the chunky, wide-arch bodykit actually doesn't look that bad, and nor does the new bumper, chunky 'X-Lander' grille and the 16-inch yellow wheels (which look like classic 'steelies') are nothing short of gorgeous.

Inside, you can have quilted leather seats, new steering wheel and a bespoke clock while underneath you get standard Defender mechanicals and the old 2.4-litre TDCI diesel engine. Kahn says that, of course, the car can be tweaked and upgraded according to the buyers' preference and the endurance of their cheque book, but prices start from STG£28,930 (€39,545) for the basic model.
