GT900 tour raises cash for Hope

Tour Ireland's best roads all in the name of charity.

A sensational line-up of 150 prestige cars is getting set to tour Ireland to raise money for the Hope Foundation. Covering 900km, the GT900 kicks off at the Fota Island Resort on 2 July and winds its way back to the starting point on 4 July.

A host of celebrities are supporting the GT900, including Ireland's former Miss World Rosanna Davidson. Miss Davidson is a long-time supporter of the Hope Foundation, which helps children living on the streets and in slum conditions in Kolkata, India. Money raised from the GT900 will fund 60 projects to help children with health care, education, drug rehabilitation and vocational training.

The invitation-only GT900 is open to all performance and classic cars, and entry costs €400 per car, with all the money going to the Hope Foundation. There's a further €450 per person fee that includes all hotels, meals and entertainment.

The organisers of the GT900 promise the route will take in the best roads Ireland has to offer. To find out more, visit: www.gt900.ie.
