What has Audi got going on in Ireland next year?

New spec on most models and a new engine for Q5 among the highlights of 2011 Audi line-up.

Audi Ireland has just announced its line-up and offers for 2011. Should I care?

Yes, because lots of new standard kit is offered. For a start you get on the A3 the option of an S Line exterior pack and 17-inch S Line wheels as a complimentary upgrade.

On the A3 Sportback there's a complimentary panoramic sunroof on the A3 SE and Sport versions.

The A4 gets an S Line exterior pack and 18-inch S Line wheels for €750 on the SE/Sport versions, which is a customer saving of €4,175.

And TT customers can order the Black and White Pack for €2,475 - a saving of €3,375. 

Any other models?

Yes, you can get a new entry-level version of the A5 Sportback. The 2.0-litre TDI with 143hp costs from €39,860. SE versions now get Milano leather and 18-inch wheel upgrade for 2011 at no extra cost. 

The A6 is on a run out, any special offers?

The kitchen sink is being thrown at the last of the Audi A6 models. All get Milano leather and 18-inch alloys and the Innovation Package with 3G Navigation, Bose surround sound, Bluetooth phone preparation, colour driver information system and iPod integration is an option.

Any new engines?

Two more 2.0 TDI versions with 143- and 170 horsepower outputs are added to the Q5 range from September 2010 production. Emissions have been reduced dropping the Q5 into a lower tax band. The 2.0 TDI 143 Q5 now starts at €43,150 on-the-road. SE versions for 2011 get the addition of Bluetooth and Colour Driver information system whilst the package price has been reduced to €2,500 above standard versions.
