FCA teases tuned show fleet

Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram models destined for Las Vegas SEMA Show

The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) group has given us some brief glimpses of the 11-strong fleet of modified vehicles it is taking to the world's biggest aftermarket tuning show, SEMA in Las Vegas.

The images and drawings show a variety of Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram special models that are fitted with Mopar products. Mopar, in case you didn't know, is what FCA calls a contraction of the words 'Motor' and 'Parts', although we think it means portmanteau.

Anyway, Mopar is a tuning sub-brand that has been around since 1937 but today, it has evolved into the group's service, parts and customer care arm, and distributes more than 500,000 parts and accessories annually across more than 130 markets.
So what's in store at SEMA? The images show: a Chrysler 200S Mopar Concept; a Dodge Charger Mopar Concept; a Poison Dart R/T (a classic US muscle nameplate, that); the teasing outline of a Dodge Viper ACR Concept; a Dodge Challenger T/A Concept (standing for Time Attack); the Fiat Abarth Scorpion, yet another performance iteration of the 500; the Fiat 500L Custom; two versions of the newly-launched Jeep Renegade, called the Trailhawk Frostbite and the Limited Rip Tide; and two Rams, a ProMaster van and a 2500 Outdoorsman crew-cab pick-up.

Anything else?
The SEMA - Speciality Equipment Market Association - Show will run from November 4-7 in the Las Vegas Convention Centre. You can find out more about Mopar at www.mopar.com.
