Interior
All the body additions are made from carbon fibre; at the front there is a new lower bumper incorporating 'AeroFlics' at each end. You also get side skirts, a rear valance and a wing mounted on the boot lid. The wheels are 20-inch, forged alloy items finished in black and wrapped in 275/30 ZR20 high-performance tyres. As an option there is a side-exit exhaust system with the outlet in the left side skirt.
Mechanicals
Power from the 4.2-litre V8 engine is up by 10- to 470hp and maximum torque is 440Nm. ABT claims the RS5-R will do 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 290km/h.
Anything else?
ABT likens the RS5-R to a muscular, Bavarian athlete: 'carved from a different piece of wood', when compared with ordinary people. Right...
