New Opel Corsa priced

Fifth generation Opel supermini to cost from €14,895, on sale in November.

Opel Ireland has announced pricing for the fifth generation Opel Corsa, which will arrive in showrooms in November. The new car, set to debut at the Paris Motor Show this week alongside the Insignia and Zafira Tourer models with a new 2.0-litre CDTi diesel engine, the sporty Adam S and a 1.6-litre Mokka, will be available from €14,895.
That price buys an entry level 'S' model in three-door guise and the five-door version starts at €15,495. Four trim levels will be offered on the new car: S, an all-new 'Excite' trim, SE and the sporty Limited Edition model that is restricted to the three-door body style - and comes complete with Opel's new 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 115hp. Other engine options include a 70hp 1.2-litre and a 1.4 with 90hp.
Dave Sheeran, Managing Director of Opel Ireland told CompleteCar.ie: "The new Corsa and Adam S are stunning additions to our portfolio and further characterise Opel's design philosophy of sculptured artistry and German precision. Meanwhile these new high-tech engines [the ones in Insignia, Zafira Tourer and Mokka] are at the forefront of current diesel technology."

Anything else?
The new car will be available with a host of technologies including the second-generation Opel Eye front camera, with Road Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, Following Distance Indication and Forward Collision Warning. MirrorLink Technology will also turn the IntelliLink Infotainment system into an in-car version of your smartphone.
