Ant-Khan has released a new rendering of the Evanta Barchetta; it's a photo-like image showing the profile of the retro-looking roadster. It has also confirmed that the car will feature lightweight, composite construction and a modern Chevrolet V8 engine.
The 6.2-litre unit is promised to deliver 450hp, although the type of transmission has not been revealed and no performance claims have been made. Other than that, the rendering gives a better idea than previous pictures about the Evanta Barchetta's proportions. It also suggests that the details will remain true to the design's retro roots with wire wheels and relatively high profile tyres.

Don't expect to see many Ant-Khan Evanta Barchettas on the road; apparently just 20 cars a year will be built and the company says the order book is filling up fast. More details will be revealed when the Evanta Barchetta is unveiled at the Goodwood Revival on 12th September.
