Tuning goodies on offer for Macan

Techart provides range of upgrades for Porsche's new baby SUV.

The Porsche Macan hasn't been on sale long, but already the German tuning houses are getting their mitts on it, with Techart showing off a full range of individual updates to fully personalise your SUV.

Techart offers four alloy wheel designs (named Formula I-IV, they are all 22-inches in diameter apart from the I, which is a 21-inch design) and an aerodynamic body kit, incorporating a front splitter, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts and wheelarch extensions, to alter the Macan's looks. Meanwhile, the company's 'in-house saddlery' can tailor leather upholstery and carbon fibre or wood trim to your heart's content, while aluminium pedals, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, floor and boot mats and illuminated door sills all bearing 'Techart' logos can be added.

Perhaps of most interest are the mechanical tweaks. There's the Air Suspension Module Sport, as seen on Techart's take on the bigger Cayenne, as well as the Techart Sport Spring Kit, which both alter the Porsche's chassis set-up. Power upgrades are available for the six-cylinder launch engines using the tuner's Techtronic engine management system; no word yet as to what these power increases are, but Techart does offer a two-year limited warranty on its Power Kits, with an additional warranty on any potential engine or gearbox damage.

Finally, you can make your Macan sound more interesting with the addition of a valve-controlled, stainless steel 'Techart Exhaust Systems Sport', which also has some natty tailpipes for the correct look at the back.

Anything else?
Techart plans to tell us more details about the full programme for the Macan in August, when most of this stuff should be going on sale - so hopefully, we'll get some prices too.
