On the exterior the Octavia L&K wears new 18-inch 'Turbine' alloy wheels and is equipped with bi-Xenon headlights combined with LED daytime running lamps, which distinguish the luxury model from the majority of other Octavias on the road. Adding to this is the inclusion of cornering front fog lights as well as telescopic headlight washers.
The interior is a combination of leather upholstery and brown Alcantara and features electrically adjustable and heated front seats. Other upgraded equipment includes a 10-speaker Canton sound system, which features Bluetooth integration.
In terms of performance, Skoda will offer the Octavia L&K with the choice of a 150hp 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine or a 180hp 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine. As per the norm with Skoda, both six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic transmissions will be offered, with the latter carrying a premium of approximately €2,000.
Anything else?
In addition to different engine options, the Octavia Laurin & Klement will be offered in both hatch and Combi (that's Skoda speak for estate) versions. Giving even more practicality to the Combi, there will be the option to specify it with four-wheel drive. Skoda has also said that it plans to offer four-wheel drive in the hatchback variant in late 2014.
