Cosmetic-inspired Citroen now in Ireland

The special edition Citroen 'DS3 by Benefit Cosmetics' has arrived in Ireland.

Citroen's special edition DS3 DSign by Benefit arrives in Ireland later this month with prices starting at €20,395. Created in conjunction with American company Benefit Cosmetics, the car is designed to capture the irreverent and playful spirit of the Benefit brand. Apparently.

Exterior
Inspired by Benefit's 'Benetint' - a red lip and cheek stain motif - the DS3 is painted ruby red metallic. For contrast, the roof, mirror casings and 17-inch alloy wheels are finished in white while the rear windows carry a dark tint. The tailgate features a Benefit badge with the 'Gabbi's head' company logo applied to the B-pillars and also the body colour coordinated key fob.

Interior
For the interior there is a white dashboard, air vent surrounds and gear stick cap. Black velour carpet mats with red piping and a red Benefit logo are also included. To complete the package there is a special make up bag - full of Benefit cosmetics - designed to fit the glove box.

Mechanicals
Power comes from the VTi 82 petrol engine.

Anything else?
To promote the edition Citroen is taking the 'Candy Stripes' concept car on tour; this uses colours from the Benefit palette, including pink and yellow stripes, and a San Francisco skyline graphic - to represent the cosmetic company's spiritual home - on the body sides. The public will be able to get a look at the concept and special edition at various locations starting on 23rd May in Dublin and including Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Mahon Point Shopping Centre and Dundrum Town Centre.
