Audi Ireland's network expands into the midlands

New Audi 'terminal' officially opens in Athlone.

The latest phase in the ongoing restructuring of the Audi dealer network in Ireland has been completed with the official opening of the new 'terminal' in Athlone. Located on the old Dublin Road, the 12-car showroom cost €4.4 million to develop and forms part of an €80 million investment in its dealer network by Audi Ireland.

In addition to a large showroom that meets all of the latest brand standards, the terminal also has room for up to 60 Audi Approved: plus used vehicles, while the workshop contains all the latest specialist equipment.

Commenting on the official opening, Michael Moore Jr, Dealer Principle, said: "We are delighted to mark the official opening of this fantastic new showroom here in Athlone. The Audi brand in Ireland continues to go from strength-to-strength and the midlands region is no exception. "As a family, we have a long standing heritage in this industry having been in the motor business for 42 years. We pride ourselves on offering a first class and personal service to all our customers and we believe our customer care combined with the superb Audi product range really will deliver an unrivalled offering to motorists in the midlands."

Anything else?
The new Audi Athlone terminal has established 18 jobs at the showroom and a further five positions are planned to be filled by the end of the year.
