Nissan announces sponsorship of UEFA Champions League

Nissan partners with UEFA Champions League for 2014-15 to 2017-18 seasons.


Nissan has announced that it will sponsor the UEFA Champions League for the next four years.

Right from 2014-15 to 2017-18, thanks to being the sponsor, Nissan will enjoy special rights for matches, pre-match training and other events and also the UEFA Super Cup. More than four billion TV viewers watch the UEFA Champions League per season. It won't just increase the brand's presence; it will also help to introduce the Japanese carmaker to a lot of new customers.

It's not the first time Nissan has associated itself with sports. The brand is the proud sponsor of the Rio 2016 Olympics, Olympic Teams GB and Mexico, Africa Cup of Nations, NCAA Football, Heisman Trophy and Canadian Football League. Also, Nissan GT-R's brand ambassador is none other than Usain Bolt, a man who needs no introduction.
