Lord March must be getting the Goodwood course ready as the 2014 Festival Of Speed (26-29 June, 2014) nears, and car companies are busy finalising their line-ups. Here's what BMW has in store.
The centre of attraction will be the BMW i8 hybrid sports car. Interestingly, deliveries of the i8 are scheduled to begin in the same month.
Joining the i8 will be the two hugely awaited M cars, the M3 Saloon and the M4 Coupé. Expect to see all three cars to post respectable times on the 2.6-kilometre course.
But that's not all. The new MINI will also be present.
Anything else?
BMW will be displaying a special version of the M4 Coupé in Goodwood, the PistonHeads Fan car, while the other interesting car on display will be the new MINI John Cooper Works Concept. On top of that, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mini's win of the Rally Monte Carlo in 1963, MINI will invite the rally legend and the guy responsible for the feat, legend Paddy Hopkirk. He will be talking about the iconic win, and signing autographs too.
