What's the news?
Bentley has released a first official image of its forthcoming SUV, which will go on sale in 2016. Details are scarce but it does show what the off-roader will look like charging through sand dunes. Gone are the controversial turbine-style lights of the EXP 9 F concept, replaced by a reworking of the familiar Bentley corporate face.
The claim is that Bentley will produce the most powerful and luxurious SUV on sale, which would suggest a 600hp W12 under the bonnet at the least. According to the company's Chairman and Chief Executive the new model will create its own segment in the market.
Anything else?
Bentley expects annual sales of at least 3,000 for the still-to-be-named off-roader.
