Create your own Leon racer with new styling pack

SEAT to release Leon performance pack styled on the Cup Racer.

Fresh from clinching the Nürburgring front-wheel drive lap record from under the noses of Renault and Honda with its new Leon Cupra 280, SEAT has announced plans to launch a new 'performance pack' based on the look of the extreme Cup Racer version, although it will be purely aesthetic and won't add any extra performance. The look might not be to everyone's taste, but the bright orange accents will certainly make the Leon Cupra stand out that bit more. As part of the package, the front grille gains an orange surround, as do the additional air intakes in the lower corners of the front bumper.

Also getting a lick of orange paint are the door mirrors and the new multi-spoke alloy wheel design, which feature a contrasting silver finish around the centre. The orange highlights continue inside the cabin, with eye-catching flashes of the colour surrounding the air vents, the transmission, centre console, lower steering wheel section and door handles.

Anything else?
This optional package won't be immediately available, but is due to start appearing on cars towards the latter half of this year. There's no word on exact costs yet, but given how keenly SEAT has already priced the Leon Cupra, don't expect this addition to cost the earth, moon and stars either.
