What's the news?
Further to the full details on the new Citroen C1, the French firm is putting a one-off special version of the C1 on its Geneva stand that is bound to please the local crowds - it's called the Swiss & Me and features the national colours of Switzerland.

Purely a styling exercise to show off the endless personalisation possibilities the C1 range affords, the C1 Swiss & Me has a red roof with the white Swiss cross on it, and a pearl white body in contrast underneath.

Black plastic wheelarch extensions and side sills also team up with huge alloys and a centre-exit rear exhaust pipe, giving the diminutive car a purposeful - if gaudy - appearance.

Citroen says this car is an 'everyday companion with a resourceful and irreverent approach to the urban jungle'. Does this mean it is the mechanical version of Bear Grylls, then...?

Anything else?
As with the first generation of Aygo/C1/107 triplets, the new C1 will be essentially the same car as the Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo - both getting their debuts at Geneva as well - but with different front- and rear-end treatments.
