New Aston supercar gets 760hp

Aston One-77's V12 engine will boast 760hp.

More details, and a video, of the Aston Martin One-77 has been released as the company gets ready to deliver the first cars early next year.

The short film shows the first complete engineering car in motion and features Aston's CEO, Dr Ulrich Bez, and the car's designer talking about the journey from first sketches to production reality.

It has also been revealed that the 7.3-litre V12 will develop 760hp and 750Nm of torque.

Apparently that makes it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine in current production.

Aston points out that the Gaydon-built One-77 is subject to the same thorough development programme as the rest of the range.  A series of One-77 videos and other Aston Martin content can be found at www.youtube.com/astonmartin.
