Ford's new Mustang is coming to Europe

Ford will no longer keep its muscle car to itself in America.

On 5 December this year, Ford will host a global simultaneous launch of its new Mustang. With the arrival of the sixth generation of one of the most recognisable names in the automotive world, Ford will also be celebrating fifty years of Mustang production next year. The new Mustang will also be the first version officially sold throughout Europe, an announcement that will undoubtedly be good news to its fans across the continent.

Commenting on the announcement, Ford's Global Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Service, Jim Farley, said "Mustang has come to be much more than just a car for its legions of fans spanning the globe from New Zealand to Iceland and Shanghai to Berlin. When you experience Mustang, it ignites a sense of optimism and independence that inspires us all. We have kicked off the countdown to the all-new Ford Mustang - with a new design, greater refinement, performance and innovative new technologies, Mustang is ready for the next 50 years."
