This is the ix20, Hyundai's version of the Kia Venga mini-MPV.
The newcomer will get its debut proper at the Paris Motor Show later this month alongside a facelifted version of the i10 supermini. They both go on sale in Ireland early in 2011.
Hyundai has said that the ix20 will be 'a striking departure from the boxy minivan image typically associated with the segment.' It has said little else about the car - but at least this time backed up the statement with photographs. The new car does, at least on screen, look sharper than the average mini-MPV - except perhaps for the Kia Venga on which it's based.
We'll know more when the car is unveiled at the end of September.
