Peugeot has confirmed that the all-new 308 will sit alongside the recently launched 2008 crossover in pride of place at the 2013 National Ploughing Championships. The latest version of the 308 will be shipped in from France specifically for the event; and is to remain in Ireland for one week only.
As well as being able to view the new 308 up-close before its official launch in December, visitors to the show will also have the chance to experience the 308's 'iCockpit' interior. The car's cabin is largely made up of a head-up instrument display panel and 9.7-inch touchscreen; leaving a clean, uncluttered dashboard with only a handful of buttons behind.
Sitting alongside the 308 and 2008 will be 12 other vehicles. The 5008, RCZ, 508 and 208 are all to make an appearance; as are the Partner, Expert and Boxer light commercial vehicles. Show-goers will also see the Peugeot 208 R2 rally car that is currently being trialled at the National Tarmac Championships.
Anything else?
Peugeot also has 50 €1,000 Golden Tickets to give away. These will be presented to the first 50 customers who visit the stand, place an order for a new 508, and have it registered between 1st and 31st October 2013.
The 2013 National Ploughing Championships take place from 24th-26th September 2013.
