New-look Duster not for Ireland at this stage

Facelift for Dacia Duster - but only for left-hand drive markets.

Dacia will be showcasing a revised version of the successful Duster at the Frankfurt Motor Show. All left-hand drive markets in Europe will receive the updated model. However, Irish Dusters will remain unchanged for the time being.

Exterior
Due to the monumental success of the Duster on the continent, Dacia hasn't changed too much for the facelifted version. The rather bland grille and headlight combination of the current model has been replaced by an arrangement that features ample helpings of chrome as well as the addition of daytime running lights, giving the Duster a much more interesting and hardcore-looking front end. The rear light clusters have also been redesigned to fall in line with the new items up front. More chrome is to be found on the Duster's tailpipe and new badging features round the back as well.

Up top, branded chrome (yes, more chrome) roof bars have been installed to further enhance the Duster's new rugged look. New 16-inch 'Dark Metal' alloy wheels will also be available to European buyers, which can be specified with Mud and Snow tyres.

Anything else?
So far as we know, Dacia has only updated the external appearance of the Duster; leaving both the cabin and mechanical bits alone. More information is expected to be given at Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10.
