The car will be delivered to customers from January 2011 and will retail from €28,995, which includes the €5,000 Government grant.
Mitsubishi Motors had been slow to confirm pricing for the i-MiEV in Ireland, but has done so following the announcement in the UK that the price of the i-MiEV will be reduced to £23,990. That also includes a UK Government grant of £5,000.
The i-MiEV will be a tough sell for Mitsubishi, since the substantially bigger and more generously equipped Nissan LEAF electric vehicle will cost just €1,000 more.
