The Airside Opel dealership has been named 2013 Opel Dealer of the Year for its consistently excellent customer service record in 2012. Along with this, the dealership picked up a Customer Excellence Award, a prize granted to dealers who offer the highest levels of service in both Sales and Aftersales.
This is the first time the Airside dealership has won these awards. John MacSweeney from Airside Opel commented, "We strive to deliver a consistent level of excellent customer service, and we are delighted to win this prestigious award."
In addition to sales and after-sales, Airside Opel offers full servicing facilities complete with all the latest equipment. Airside also prides itself on its parts and body panel department, which sees the dealer being nominated for the title of Opel Ireland's Technical Centre of Excellence.
Dave Sheeran, Managing Director of Opel Ireland, congratulated the Airside team by saying, "Their commitment to customer service is very impressive, and this award is true recognition of their service."
The Airside showroom is part of the Windsor Motor Group. Established in 1968, the group has become the largest of its kind in Ireland, with claims that it's also the nation's favourite. The Airside facility employs over 40 individuals and sells both passenger and commercial vehicles.
The Airside dealership is also part of Opel Ireland's 'Opel Kit for Clubs' grassroots campaign. For every test drive, service or vehicle purchase, local GAA Clubs win points towards new equipment.
