The music service is available for free from Apple's app store and has been tweaked by the company to make it "MINI Connected ready". Once connected, users can navigate through the app and its social media functions via the high-resolution display, the MINI joystick and steering wheel buttons.
Deezer is the latest in a long line of apps that can be integrated into MINI ownership via MINI Connected. Other apps include Facebook, Twitter, Google Search and Stitcher; as well as Send to Car, which sends RSS newsfeeds and enables users to access their iPhone's calendar. MINI Connected also has a number of exclusive interactive functions such as Driving Excitement, Mission Control, Dynamic Music and MINIMALISM Analyser.
To make the most out of these features either the Radio MINI Visual Boost or MINI navigation system options boxes must be ticked; as well as the one for MINI Connected.
The new integrated Deezer app can also be accessed on new model BMWs via BMW Apps.
