As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations McLaren will show a 12C and 12C Spider at this year's Salon Privé supercar show, which runs from the 4th to the 6th of September. The 2nd of September is the precise day of McLaren's golden anniversary - the day in 1963 that Bruce McLaren officially incorporated his team.
For the second year McLaren Automotive will feature on the Super Car Lawn. The 12C and 12C Spider are expected to attract more than a few admiring glances from the show's patrons as they enjoy the garden party atmosphere - complete with complimentary champagne and lobster.
In addition, McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson, is part of the Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elegance judging panel. As well as the 12C and 12C Spider Stephenson's past credits include the BMW MINI, Maserati MC12 and Ferrari F430.
