The specialist palliative care centre received the brand new Toyota Auris from Rob Cogans to raise money to develop a Community Palliative Care Unit Fleet, which will allow the Community Palliative Care Unit to provide invaluable care and support to those patients who choose to be cared for in their own homes.
Marymount provides medical, nursing and spiritual care for patients of all ages with serious and advanced illness. Staffed by a full team of interdisciplinary trained professionals, Marymount is home to a 24-bed unit, a day hospice and an out-patient department.
Tickets for the draw, which will take place on June 28, are priced at €10 for one ticket or €20 for three and are available to purchase now from Marymount Hospice, Cogans Carrigaline and various other locations throughout Cork City and County. The car itself will be on show in various locations throughout Cork City and County in the coming weeks, were Marymount representatives will be on hand to give full details of the draw.
