The Subaru BRZ coupé has arrived in Ireland costing €39,995, undercutting its Toyota-badged equivalent by €1,090.
Despite the price difference there doesn't seem to be any change in specification or equipment levels. The 2.0-litre flat-four engine developing 200hp, driving through a six-speed manual gearbox to a Torsen limited-slip differential are all intact. For the time being, unlike the GT86, there is no automatic option. As you would expect, the fuel consumption and emissions figures are identical too at 7.8 litres/100km and 181g/km respectively.
The specification includes climate control, keyless entry and a sound system with radio, CD player and USB input.
