TomTom has launched a new app that is designed to make logging mileage expenses a lot less arduous.
The app is called WEBFLEET Logbook and works in conjunction with TomTom's in-car LINK tracking device, which provides trip information. This data is then fed back automatically through TomTom's WEBFLEET management system to update individual company records. The only input required is selecting whether the journey is for business, personal or commuting purposes.
As well as basic journey information, users can also provide details as to the reason for the trip, and can also register themselves to be linked to individual vehicles - allowing businesses to keep track of who is driving each vehicle at any given time.
